Everything Exclsv HQ does for your server.

HQ is the control panel on every plan, at no extra cost, in any browser and on your phone. This page lists what it does today. Each game page says what’s different for that game.

Your server, from any browser or phone

One page per server, in any browser.

Live consoleWatch the log as it runs and type commands, with no extra tool to set up.
The OverviewThe server’s state in colour, from Running to Crashed, who’s online, and 24-hour and 7-day graphs of processor, memory and players that show when it was switched off.
What’s slowing itA short note on why it’s slow, based only on the graphs: your plan’s limit, memory nearly full, or the machine busy on our side. If your plan has room to spare, HQ won’t suggest a bigger one.
Files and SFTPEdit, move, compress and unpack files in the browser. Upload files up to 20 GB, have the server download one from a link, or use SFTP.
Schedules in UK timeRestarts, backups and commands on the days and times you pick, with a warning to players first. For games that need regular restarts, HQ suggests a schedule and you switch it on.
Find a settingSearch a server’s settings and pages by the words you’d use.
Notifications your wayChoose what HQ tells you about, by email, in HQ or on your phone, with quiet hours for the phone.
A weekly reportEvery Monday at 08:00: uptime, peak players, updates, backups and your next bill. One click turns it off.

Mods and game settings

On the games that have mods. Each game page says what’s supported.

Mods installed for youCurseForge mods and modpacks and Hangar plugins on Minecraft, uMod and Carbon on Rust, Thunderstore on Valheim, the Steam Workshop on Project Zomboid and Garry’s Mod, and the Mod Portal on Factorio.
Big mod files, checked firstWhere mods are files, such as tModLoader’s .tmod files, add them on the Mods tab, up to 20 GB, from your computer or a link. HQ checks them and takes a snapshot before anything goes in, and a link carries on installing after you close the page.
Game settings in a formThe settings people change most, written into the game’s own files with your comments and layout kept. HQ checks the file and takes a snapshot first.
Undo one changeUndo this change puts back a single settings save, or a single Minecraft mod or plugin change, without touching your world.
Loader and versionSwitch Minecraft between Paper, Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, or pick a version on the games that have them, with a snapshot first. A Minecraft version you pick stays through automatic updates, and HQ tells you when a newer one is out.
Bedrock players on JavaOne switch lets friends on phones, tablets and Windows join your Minecraft Java server from Bedrock.

Backups, undo and updates

Most changes can be taken back, and you choose when your server updates.

Time machineA snapshot every hour, kept for up to 48 hours. HQ shows what going back would undo, and the restore itself can be undone.
Off-site backupsEvery 6 hours, encrypted and kept in another data centre, with 7 daily copies, plus 3 saved backups of your own to name, lock and download.
The BinDeleted files wait in the Bin for 7 days, and you put them back yourself.
Updates when you chooseUpdates install automatically as soon as they’re out (or at your chosen time), with a snapshot first and one-click undo. You can also ask to be asked first, or hold a version. It’s your choice, security updates included.
Bring your worldUpload a world from your own computer or another host. HQ checks it and takes a snapshot before it goes in.
Saved setupsKeep up to 3 on one server, such as a modded world and a vanilla one, and switch in a few seconds.
Restore a snapshot from the time machine

Health, and what happens after a crash

The Health card on your server’s Overview is the Server Doctor (the health check): it checks the server every minute.

Checked every minuteHQ checks start-ups, memory, disk, settings files and mods every minute and before each start, and says what to fix if something is wrong.
Fixes you can take backMany problems have a fix HQ can apply for you, by itself or with one click, and a fix can be undone. For the rest it shows the steps, or you can ask a person.
Crash noticesAfter a crash HQ tells you whether the server started again by itself, with the last lines of its log. A stop you asked for is never counted as a crash.
Disk warningsHQ warns you at 80% and 95% full. At 100% it saves your world and stops the server cleanly, so nothing is corrupted.

Players, friends and family

Run the server together, and keep it to the people you want.

Players and moderationSee who’s on, then kick, ban, mute or message them. Ban lists, who can join, admins and each player’s history are on the Players tab.
People, with the right permissionsAdd friends to a server as Admin, Moderator, Players only or Power only, or tick exactly what each one can do. Invite anyone by email, even if they don’t have an account yet.
Child loginsAn under-18 can have their own login on your account. It sees only the servers you share with it, and only you can buy anything.
Family serverOn Minecraft, one switch turns on the whitelist, keeps inventory and stops players hurting each other. Friends ask to join, and you approve them.
Community toolsWelcome messages, rewards, leaderboards, events and chat commands on the games that support them, and a report command so players can flag someone to you.
DiscordAdd the Exclsv bot to your own Discord to chat with players in game and check the server from a channel, or post game updates and events there.
A join pageA page for your server with its address and the steps for each platform, so friends can join without asking you how.
Rust wipesSet your wipe days once. HQ takes a snapshot, counts down in game chat and wipes on time.
Minecraft networksPut several Minecraft servers behind one Velocity entrance, with Linked servers setting up the connections.
A private Minecraft server for your children
