Cancel a server and get a refund

Cancel from Billing in HQ, in one step. What you get back depends on when you cancel.
Within 72 hours of your first purchase
Cancel within 72 hours of your first server being ready and we refund all of it, to the card or account you paid with. This is for your first purchase only, once per customer. A refund doesn’t give the founder offer back, unless we couldn’t deliver your server while the offer is still open.
Within 14 days of any new order
If you chose to start your server straight away and cancel within 14 days, we refund the days you haven’t used. If you chose to start after the 14 days, nothing is charged until the start date and you can cancel before then for free.
After that
- In HQ, open Billing and choose the server.
- Choose Cancel and confirm.
- The server keeps running to the end of the period you paid for, then stops, and nothing renews. One final backup stays downloadable for 30 days.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Banks usually take 5 to 10 working days to show them. Refunds over £100 are checked by a person before they are sent.
If it doesn’t work
I want a smaller plan instead
Change plan from HQ. Moving down happens straight away, and the difference for the days left is paid back to your card, or kept as credit if you prefer.
