Add the Exclsv bot to your Discord
Updated 31 October 2026 · 2 minute read · Every server · By Exclsv Support
The Exclsv bot links one of your Discord channels to your game server. Players can check the server from Discord, and people you trust can start and back it up.
Add the bot
- In HQ, open your server, then More, then Community, then Discord bridge.
- Choose Add the bot to Discord. Discord asks which of your servers to add it to; you need Manage Server there.
- Back in HQ, pick the Discord server and the channel to link.
Commands
- /status and /players: for everyone in the linked channel.
- /say and /kick: for the moderator role you choose.
- /start, /stop, /restart and /backup: for Discord moderators, or the role you choose, and only if they connected Discord to their own HQ account (Account, then Discord) and may do it in HQ too.
- /help and a topic: links the best help article, anywhere the bot is.
Live status and chat
- Live status message: one message the bot keeps up to date with online or offline, players and the join address.
- Say Discord messages in game is off until you turn it on. Slurs and web addresses are always skipped, and swearing by default.
If it doesn’t work
The bot says the channel isn’t linked
Pick that channel under Discord bridge in HQ. Commands only work in the linked channel, apart from /help.
