Your server’s wipe days
Most servers wipe more often than once a month. Choose your pattern and time, and get the dates as a calendar file for your players or your admins.
Or let HQ do it
On an Exclsv Rust server, HQ’s wipe scheduler runs map or full wipes on the days you choose, in UK time. It takes a backup first and counts down in game chat. On forced-wipe day it waits up to 6 hours for Oxide or Carbon to support the new build.
Rust server hosting, from £17.99 a monthHow forced wipes work
Facepunch releases a Rust update on the first Thursday of every month. The update changes the game so that the old map can’t be loaded, which is why every server starts a fresh map that day, whoever hosts it. Wipe guides put the release at about 11:00 Pacific time, which is 19:00 UK time for most of the year. Facepunch doesn’t publish a fixed time, and a large update can arrive later, so treat the time as the usual one.
A map wipe resets the world: bases, loot and the map itself. A blueprint wipe resets what players have learned. They are separate: many servers keep blueprints through most forced wipes and wipe them on their own schedule, and Facepunch’s update notes say when an update wipes them too.
Plugin frameworks such as Oxide and Carbon need their own update for each new build, and that can take a few hours after the game update. Servers that update straight away start with their plugins switched off until the framework catches up.

Questions
When is the next Rust forced wipe?
Thursday 5 November 2026, usually at 19:00 UK time. Forced wipes come with Facepunch’s monthly update, on the first Thursday of every month.
What time is the Rust forced wipe in the UK?
Usually 19:00 UK time. Facepunch doesn’t publish a fixed time, and a big update can come out later, so check on the day.
Can a server skip the forced wipe?
No. The monthly update forces a map wipe on every Rust server, whoever hosts it.
Are blueprints wiped too?
A forced wipe always resets the map. Blueprints are a separate wipe that most server owners schedule themselves; Facepunch’s update notes say when an update wipes them as well.
Does this calendar update itself?
Yes. Subscribe to the calendar link rather than downloading the file once, and your calendar app fetches new dates as they are added.
