Saved setups: up to 3 on one server

Keep up to 3 saved setups on one server, such as a modded world and a vanilla one, and switch in a few seconds.
What a saved setup is
- A complete saved setup: game, version, mods, settings and world files.
- Every server keeps up to 3. One runs at a time.
- Saved setups count towards your plan’s disk allowance.
Switch to another saved setup
- In HQ, open your server and choose Backups, then Saved setups.
- Choose Switch to this setup on the one you want.
- HQ takes a backup of the running setup first. Players are disconnected, and the switch takes a few seconds on the same address.
A different game
A saved setup can be a different game. HQ makes saved setups of the same game itself; for a different game, ask support and a person sets it up for you. The plan price follows the game that’s running: a dearer game is charged for the days left when you switch, and a cheaper one is paid back to your card, or kept as credit if you prefer.
History and the Bin
Each saved setup has its own automatic backups: hourly backups for up to 48 hours while it runs, and its last backup while it is saved. Deleted saved setups go to the Bin for 7 days.
If it doesn’t work
I can’t make a new saved setup
A server keeps up to 3. Delete one you no longer need, or check your disk; more space is £1.99 a month for 25 GB or £3.99 for 50 GB.
