How much memory does a Palworld server need?
Updated 24 October 2026 · 2 minute read · Palworld · By Exclsv Support
Palworld uses a lot of memory even for small groups, because it keeps your bases and Pals loaded. Our plans allow for it: 10 GB for 10 players, 16 GB for 16 and 20 GB for 32.
Palworld plans
Pick by the most players you expect at once. The memory is reserved for your server.
| Size | Memory | Players | Suits | Price a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Friends | 8 GB | 8 | Up to 8 players | £14.99 |
| Community | 16 GB | 16 | Up to 16 players | £29.99 |
| Public | 20 GB | 32 | Up to 32 players | £39.99 |
Palworld plans and what each includes
Memory grows the longer it runs
Palworld’s memory use grows over time. Set daily restarts in HQ in UK time, and players get a warning first.
Settings that use more
- More wild Pals: above 1.5 times the normal spawn rate can slow the server down.
- More Pals working at each base uses more processor time.
Changing size later
- Moving up charges the difference for the days left in your billing period.
- Moving down pays the difference for the days left back to your card, or keeps it as credit if you prefer.
If it doesn’t work
The server slows down after a few hours
Watch memory in HQ. If it climbs through the day, a daily restart at a quiet time keeps it fresh; if it is close to full soon after a restart, move up a size.
